About WrapSheet and the shower that started it
Brian Perrella built WrapSheet after the gift-tracking work that followed his first baby shower. In his App Store account of the app's origin, he describes gifts spread across the family room, a mountain of cards, and the task of matching everything to the right person in Apple Notes. He says that experience shaped the app.
WrapSheet is an iPhone and iPad app for gifts you've received at baby showers, weddings, birthdays, housewarmings, and other celebrations. It helps keep the gift, giver, and thank-you work together after the party. It isn't a registry or a shopping service.
What the app helps with
Photograph a gift and its card, check the suggested item and giver details, and save the record to your event. WrapSheet can also create a thank-you draft for you to edit. You choose the final wording and send it yourself; the app doesn't mail cards for you.
The official listing describes PDF and CSV exports and optional iCloud sync. WrapSheet is free to start, with one-time 7, 14, or 30-day event passes rather than a subscription. Saved records remain after a pass ends.
Advice for the work after a celebration
Tess Morgan writes the WrapSheet blog about gifts, thank-yous, and the expectations around celebrations. The gift-tracking guides focus on practical steps, including paper and spreadsheet options. You don't need to purchase the app to use the advice.
